BALVANERA Presents: Chef Julieta Caruso

Chef Fernando Navas and the BALVANERA Pittsburgh Team are proud to welcome Acclaimed Argentine Chef Julieta Caruso of Buenos Aires' beloved Casa Cavia for a special one-night-only tasting experience on Tuesday, October 22nd at 7:30pm at 1660 Smallman Street in the heart of Pittsburgh's Strip District. Tickets, including an optional premium Argentine wine pairing are now live on Resy for parties up to 6. The event will take place in our Vinyl Room (private dining space) as two communal tables. Parties will be seated together within this format.

PRICING 

Tasting Menu: $160.50 per person (includes dinner, 20% gratuity and tax).

Additional Optional Premium Argentine Wine Pairing: $64.20pp (includes five wine pairings, 20% gratuity, and tax). Wine Selection will be posted by Friday.

Guests who do not choose the wine pairing will be offered beverage options from our current cocktail/wines by the glass/bottle list.

ABOUT CASA CAVIA

Casa Cavia, a cultural destination that includes a restaurant, bar, cafe, wine cellar and flower shop is located in the Palermo Chico area of Buenos Aires. The restaurant is a Michelin-recommended establishment in 2024. Managed by Julieta Caruso, former sous-chef at Mugaritz during 9 years. A land of emotions, perceptions and flavors, each of which you can seize at leisure; simple things speak better than intricate ones and noble things often speak forever.

It's a showcase of the country’s incredible wines, ingredients, creativity, and gastronomic advancements designed to leave a lasting impression on guests.
